Job summary

Sacred Heart Mission is seeking an experienced service leader to oversee the Meals Program and Engagement Hub. You will supervise staff, coordinate case management, and maintain safe, trauma-informed practice while building connections with participants.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Community Services, leadership experience, and the ability to work a rotating weekend roster. Compensation includes hourly pay, salary packaging, generous leave, and ongoing professional development

Qualifications

• Leadership experience supervising and supporting staff.
• Experience in homelessness, mental health, AOD or community service settings.
• Strong supervision, coaching and guidance skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; collaborative across a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to trauma-informed, person-centred and culturally responsive practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily hub operations, ensuring a safe, welcoming environment and high-quality participant support.
• Supervise and mentor Pathways Workers, contractors and students, providing guidance and weekend leadership.
• Oversee participant engagement, follow-ups, record-keeping and referral pathways.
• Manage reporting, rostering, payroll support and compliance with safety and privacy requirements.
• Participate in on-call roster, team meetings, service planning and quality improvement.
• Engage in supervision, training and development within a collaborative workplace culture.
