Job summary

Sacred Heart Mission in Melbourne seeks a Head of Strategy to turn bold growth plans into measurable action. You’ll partner with our CEO, executive team and board to land new opportunities and build value-aligned partnerships, drawing on a passion for social justice and a track record of strategic leadership.

You’ll lead collaboration with frontline teams, champion lived experience voices, and foster relationships that improve outcomes for people experiencing homelessness and disadvantage.

Your New Role

Sacred Heart Mission is growing. We want to expand into new services and geographies to serve more people and communities. We have a bold vision and clear growth directions – now we need a senior leader who can turn our strategy into action.

As Head of Strategy, you’ll work closely with our CEO, executive team, board and front-line leaders to land new opportunities and build value-aligned partnerships.

For this role, you'll bring a passion for social justice that has shaped a career focused on addressing the structural causes of disadvantage. Through your previous leadership roles, you've developed a strong strategic mindset while staying grounded in lived experience voice.

At the heart of your work is a belief in the power of relationships. You enjoy bringing diverse perspectives together and are experienced in building trusted partnerships to achieve better outcomes for people.

• This is a full time, 3 year contract position.
• Base salary is approx $150K plus super, depending on experience
• Salary packaging expenses like your rent, holiday accommodation and dining out: up to $15,900 pre-tax.
