Job summary

Uniplan Group in Armidale, NSW is seeking an experienced Painter for a permanent full-time position at our Armidale manufacturing facility. You will mainly work on brand-new modular buildings, handling interior and exterior painting from prep to final finish.

We welcome candidates with extensive hands-on painting experience; formal trade certificates are not strictly required. If you can demonstrate high workmanship and can relocate, relocation assistance may be provided.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years' painting experience in Australia
Interior and exterior painting experience
Commercial and/or residential construction experience
Australian working rights
Trade qualification highly regarded, but not essential for experienced applicants

Responsibilities

Interior and exterior surface preparation
Filling holes, cracks and gaps and preparing surfaces to a high standard
Applying paints and coatings using brushes, rollers and spray equipment
Confidently operating spray equipment to achieve professional, high-quality finishes
Painting new commercial and residential-style builds
Completing touch-ups and rectification work
Maintaining painting equipment, tools and work areas
Working alongside other skilled trades throughout production
Consistently delivering work to Uniplan's quality and safety standards
