Uniplan Group is seeking an experienced Painter for brand-new modular builds in Armidale. You will join the manufacturing team, handling surface prep, priming, painting and finishing on interior and exterior surfaces.

Open to trade-qualified individuals or those with extensive hands-on painting experience in Australia. The role emphasizes working on brand-new builds with a fixed location in Armidale and opportunities for long-term employment.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of painting experience in Australia.
• Experience across interior and exterior commercial and/or residential construction.
• Strong experience using spray equipment.
• Excellent surface preparation and finishing skills.
• High attention to detail and workmanship pride.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; trade qualification is valued but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare interior and exterior surfaces for painting.
• Fill holes, cracks and gaps; perform surface prep.
• Apply paints and coatings with brushes, rollers and spray equipment.
• Use spray equipment to achieve professional finishes.
• Paint interiors and exteriors on new residential and commercial builds.
• Perform touch-ups and rectification work.
• Maintain painting tools, equipment and workspace.
• Collaborate with other trades during production.
• Adhere to quality and safety standards.
