Job summary

Uniplan Group is seeking an experienced Painter for a permanent full-time role at our Armidale manufacturing facility. You will primarily work on brand-new modular buildings, handling interior and exterior painting from prep to finish, at a single facility, with relocation assistance possible for the right candidate.

We value hands-on, high-quality workmanship and prefer a candidate with 5+ years' Australian painting experience, including commercial or residential construction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' painting experience in Australia.
• Interior and exterior painting experience.
• Commercial and/or residential construction experience.
• Excellent preparation and finishing skills.
• High attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Trade qualification highly regarded, but not essential for experienced applicants.

Responsibilities

• Interior and exterior surface preparation.
• Filling holes, cracks and gaps and preparing surfaces to a high standard.
• Applying paints and coatings using brushes, rollers and spray equipment.
• Confidently operating spray equipment to achieve professional finishes.
• Painting new commercial and residential-style builds.
• Completing touch-ups and rectification work.
• Maintaining painting equipment, tools and work areas.
• Working alongside other skilled trades throughout production.
• Consistently delivering work to Uniplan Group's quality and safety standards.
