Job summary

Uniplan Group is seeking an experienced Painter for a permanent full-time role at our Armidale manufacturing facility. You will work on brand-new modular buildings, handling interior and exterior painting from prep to final finish, with relocation assistance available if needed.

The role focuses on surface preparation, applying paints, and delivering top-quality workmanship within a controlled, production-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' painting experience in Australia.
• Experience with interior and exterior painting in commercial or residential builds.
• Ability to prep surfaces and deliver high-quality finishes.

Responsibilities

Experienced Painter | Full-Time Armidale | Relocation Assistance

Permanent Full-Time | Armidale, NSW | Relocation Assistance Available

Ready for a change? We're looking for an experienced Painter to join our team in Armidale, NSW.

Uniplan Group is seeking an experienced Painter for a permanent full-time position at our Armidale manufacturing facility.

You don't necessarily need a formal trade certificate. If you have extensive hands-on painting experience and can demonstrate a high standard of workmanship, we want to hear from you.

We're also not limiting our search to the local area. If you're the right person and need to relocate to Armidale, relocation assistance may be available to help make the move possible.

We are looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years' painting experience in Australia, including strong experience across interior and exterior commercial and/or residential construction.

New Builds. One Primary Workplace. Consistent Work.

This isn't your typical residential repainting or maintenance role.

You'll work predominantly on brand-new modular buildings, completing interior and exterior painting from initial preparation through to the final quality finish.

Rather than travelling from house to house or constantly moving between construction sites, the majority of your work is completed at our Armidale manufacturing facility, alongside other trades as each new building progresses through production.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Interior and exterior surface preparation
• Filling holes, cracks and gaps and preparing surfaces to a high standard
• Applying paints and coatings using brushes, rollers and spray equipment
• Confidently operating spray equipment to achieve professional, high-quality finishes
• Painting new commercial and residential-style builds
• Completing touch-ups and rectification work
• Maintaining painting equipment, tools and work areas
• Working alongside other skilled trades throughout production
• Consistently delivering work to Uniplan's quality and safety standards

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 5 years' painting experience in Australia
• Demonstrated interior and exterior painting experience
• Commercial and/or residential construction experience
• Excellent preparation and finishing skills
• High attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
• Strong reliability and work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Trade qualification highly regarded, but not essential for experienced applicants
