Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior/Principal Nuclear Safety Engineer in Australia, based from either Adelaide or Sydney. You will provide safety case leadership, guidance and delivery across defence projects for a mature global team.

The role involves safety assessments, reports and leading safety case activities in collaboration with partners and stakeholders. You will shape strategy, support design, construction and maintenance while identifying risks and opportunities for growth in the

Responsibilities

Shape the nuclear safety case strategy and lead safety case activities.
Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to deliver engineering solutions.
Contribute to complex project proposals and pursue new business opportunities.
Provide engineering support for design, construction and maintenance of defence platforms.
Forecast, monitor and report engineering performance to identify risks.
Work with project partners to ensure safety-informed design.
Undertake safety assessments and safety analyses.
Produce safety reports and other technical documents.
