Job summary
Anduril Industries is seeking an NPI Program Manager to drive production readiness for our undersea portfolio. You will own the end‑to‑end NPI plan and readiness schedule, align engineering releases, supply chain, and production against a single build date, and decide when a product is ready to enter the factory.
In a fast‑paced, resource‑limited environment you will standardise processes, run cross‑functional planning forums, and escalate issues with evidence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronic, Industrial or related field.
- 5+ years in a manufacturing environment with NPI or design-to-production experience.
- Proven ownership of moving a product from engineering to production against a date.
- Strong programme and schedule management skills for cross-functional delivery.
- Ability to interrogate engineering releases and assess production readiness.
- Knowledge of manufacturing and quality systems, ECR/ECO workflows, and BOM/PLM structures.
- Outstanding communication and ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct reporting.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
- Ability to obtain Australian Government Security Clearance.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end NPI plan and readiness schedule for assigned programs.
- Align engineering releases, supply chain, and production to a single build date.
- Run cross-functional NPI planning forums; escalate issues with evidence.
- Align internal production scope with quality plans, instructions, tooling, fixturing.
- Drive gate and MRR readiness with evidence from each function.
- Represent Production at Change Control Board for build-schedule alignment.
- Run DFx reviews to surface manufacturability opportunities.
- Publish guidance on engineering inputs, maturity, formats and audiences.
- Coordinate multi-site NPI transfers and day-1 site readiness.
- Resolve emergent multi-site NPI issues and escalation with recommendations.
- Track risks, issues, and actions with mitigations.
