Job summary

Accenture Global is seeking a highly experienced Technical Lead Network Security to join our Managed Security Engineering team in Australia. You will act as the technical escalation point across complex enterprise environments, primarily across Fortinet and Palo Alto platforms, and help turn reactive managed services into proactive engineering outcomes.

Qualifications

• Extensive production experience in enterprise network security environments.
• Strong hands-on with Fortinet and Palo Alto platforms.
• Experience with FortiManager and Panorama for centralized management.
• Solid routing and switching knowledge; BGP/OSPF.
• Experience leading major incidents and coordinating technical efforts.
• Ability to mentor engineers and share troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with automation tooling (Ansible, Terraform, Python).
• Exposure to cloud networking (Azure/AWS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior escalation point across complex network security environments.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting for Fortinet and Palo Alto platforms.
• Lead or coordinate major incidents (P1/P2) with root cause analysis.
• Configure, upgrade and optimise production environments.
• Support customer change processes with thorough testing and documentation.
• Mentor engineers and grow team troubleshooting capabilities.
• Contribute to network security architecture, design and implementation.
