Accenture is seeking a Security Engineer – Network Security to join the Brisbane-based Managed Security Engineering team. The role involves hands-on work across Fortinet and Palo Alto platforms, addressing routine incidents, changes and maintenance while improving security posture.

You will troubleshoot live environments, engage with customers, and develop technical capabilities in networking, firewall policies, VPNs and related security domains.

Competenze

• Hands-on experience with Fortinet FortiGate and/or Palo Alto Networks.
• Strong understanding of routing, switching, NAT and VPN/IPsec.
• Experience supporting security incidents and service requests in live production environments.

Mansioni

• Support and maintain customer network security environments across Fortinet and Palo Alto platforms.
• Investigate and resolve firewall, VPN, routing, switching and connectivity issues.
• Perform scheduled configuration changes, upgrades and maintenance across production environments.
• Support FortiGate and Palo Alto firewalls and management platforms (FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, Panorama).
• Contribute to service improvement and automation opportunities.
• Participate in after-hours on-call roster as part of the engineering team.
