Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Security Engineer - Network Security to join our Managed Security Engineering team in Australia. The role is hands-on, focusing on securing customer network environments across Fortinet and Palo Alto platforms.

You will troubleshoot live environments, work across incidents and changes, and contribute to service improvements while participating in an after-hours on-call roster with the wider engineering team.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Fortinet/FortiGate and/or Palo Alto Networks.
• Strong networking fundamentals including routing, switching and VPNs.
• Experience troubleshooting security issues in live production environments.
• Excellent customer and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain customer network security environments across Fortinet and Palo Alto platforms.
• Investigate and resolve firewall, VPN, routing, switching and connectivity issues.
• Perform scheduled configuration changes, upgrades and maintenance across production environments.
• Support FortiGate and Palo Alto firewalls and management platforms.
