Department of Justice and Community Safety VIC in Melbourne seeks an NCIS Technical Lead to oversee the maintenance and operation of the National Coronial Information System. You will develop solutions, resolve technical issues and ensure the system remains secure, reliable and useful.

You will lead ongoing maintenance, design improvements, manage incidents, maintain documentation, and collaborate with technical and business teams to simplify complex topics for non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience delivering application support and development services.
• Strong technical skills in Java, SQL and OCI, with experience using software development methods.
• Ability to find practical solutions to complex problems and improve systems over time.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical audiences.
