Job summary

JAX Tyres & Auto Biggera Waters is seeking an experienced Senior Motor Mechanic to join our well-equipped workshop. You’ll work across a wide range of vehicles, performing servicing, repairs and advanced diagnostics with a focus on quality workmanship.We offer an above‑award rate, a $2,000 sign‑on bonus (conditions apply), flexible start/finish times and ongoing training. Saturday shifts 8am–12pm are optional for extra income.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience as a motor mechanic.
• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology required.
• Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Servicing.
• Experience with suspension and brakes; strong diagnostic/fault-finding skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing and repairs.
• Perform advanced diagnostics and fault finding.
• Work across a wide range of vehicles including European makes/models.
• Saturday shifts from 8am–12pm are optional.

We’re now looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Motor Mechanic to join our professional team at Biggera Waters full-time or would consider part-time for the right applicant.

This is more than just another mechanic role. You’ll join a well-equipped, professionally run workshop where your experience is valued, your skills are supported and you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact.

You’ll work across a wide range of vehicles, carrying out everything from routine servicing and repairs to advanced diagnostics and fault finding.

Saturday shifts from 8am-12pm are optional, giving you the flexibility to earn extra income or enjoy a better work-life balance.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a skilled, reliable and hands‑on mechanic who takes pride in their work and is confident working independently.

You’ll need:

• 5 years’ experience as a motor mechanic
• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology – Required
• Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Servicing
• Strong mechanical experience (Suspension, Brakes)
• Excellent diagnostic and fault‑finding skills
• A valid Australian Driver’s Licence
• Experience working with a range of makes and models including European
