Job summary

JAX Tyres & Auto Windsor is seeking a qualified Motor Mechanic to join our team. This permanent, full-time role involves diagnostics, servicing and repairs across a diverse range of vehicles with a focus on quality, safety and customer satisfaction.

You will work approximately 38 hours per week, earn AUD 80,000–85,000 per year plus superannuation, and join a supportive workshop that values teamwork, career development and a trusted national automotive brand.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a qualified motor mechanic (certificate III)
• Automotive trade qualification and certificates
• Current valid Driver's Licence

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle diagnostics, servicing and mechanical repairs
• Tyre fitting when required
• Maintain engines, brakes, suspension, steering, cooling systems and more
• Road test vehicles to ensure repair quality
• Complete service documentation and job cards accurately
• Explain issues and solutions to customers
• Collaborate with workshop team to meet deadlines
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures

Job Description

JAX Tyres & Auto Windsor is looking for a full-time Motor Mechanic to join the team. We are committed to providing our employees with a rewarding and supportive work environment. As a Motor Mechanic, you will play a key role in servicing and repairing a wide range of vehicles, ensuring our customers drive away with confidence and peace of mind.

DUTIES

• Conducting vehicle diagnostics, servicing, and mechanical repairs
• Tyre Fitting when required
• Performing maintenance on engines, brakes, suspension, steering, cooling systems and more
• Road testing vehicles to ensure the quality of repairs
• Accurately completing service documentation and job cards
• Communicating with customers to explain issues and proposed solutions
• Working collaboratively with the workshop team to meet deadlines and maintain high service standards
• Following all safety protocols and company procedures

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a qualified motor mechanic where you hold a relevant qualification (i.e. certificate III)
• Automotive trade qualification and certificates
• Current valid Driver's Licence

This is a fulltime position average 38 hours per week. Salary is range of $80,000 - $85,000 per annum, plus superannuation
