YourCar Tyre & Auto in Marrickville, NSW, is seeking a qualified Motor Mechanic / Automotive Technician to join our modern workshop. You will perform servicing, diagnostics, brake and suspension work, tyre fitting, and safety checks as part of a steady workflow with a strong team culture.

Qualifications

• Qualified Motor Mechanic with relevant Australian certification preferred but not essential.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence is required.
• 3–5 years of automotive experience is preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and a positive work ethic.
• Strong communication skills; NSW AIS Examiner licence is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performing vehicle servicing and repairs.
• Conducting diagnostic testing and fault finding.
• Completing logbook servicing to manufacturer specifications.
• Brake, suspension and steering repairs.
• Tyre fitting, balancing and wheel alignments.
• Carrying out vehicle inspections and safety checks.
• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:
