Pro Health Care in Glenelg is seeking a Senior Medical Receptionist to join our casual team. You will support day-to-day clinic operations across two locations and lead reception staff to deliver a high-quality patient experience.

The role requires strong leadership, organisation and Medicare billing knowledge. Weekend and Friday availability is essential, with 20–25 hours per week and potential for additional shifts.

Qualifications

• Senior reception or medical administration experience in healthcare.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with multitasking ability.
• Demonstrated leadership to guide, support and motivate a team.

Responsibilities

• Support the Practice Manager in daily clinic operations across both locations.
• Lead, mentor and support reception and administrative staff to foster a high-performing team.
• Deliver and oversee an exceptional patient experience, ensuring professional and efficient interactions.
• Assist with rostering, leave coordination and onboarding of new team members.
• Contribute to back-of-house reception duties including admin, document management and coordination.
• Maintain compliance with practice policies, procedures and accreditation standards.
• Support billing processes, Medicare compliance and general admin tasks.
• Coordinate clinic facilities, equipment maintenance and stock control.
• Collaborate with the Practice Manager on business improvements and initiatives.
