Job summary

Roc Consulting is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the mechanical design and documentation of commercial HVAC and mechanical services across projects. You will collaborate with managers, draftspersons and contractors through design and delivery, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards and company procedures.

You will mentor junior engineers, resolve design issues and contribute to continuous improvement while supporting delivery and commissioning activities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer within commercial HVAC or mechanical services.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, hydraulics and mechanical services design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit or similar design software.
• Experience producing and reviewing engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Solid understanding of Australian Standards and relevant compliance requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage competing project deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, comfortable liaising across all levels of a project team.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
