Overview

Our client is a leading Australian HVAC contractor delivering high-quality, innovative air conditioning solutions across commercial, data, infrastructure, healthcare and industrial projects nationwide. They are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer (HVAC) to take a leading role in the design and delivery of complex projects across Australia. You will provide technical leadership across the full project lifecycle, from concept design through to delivery. You will work closely with project delivery teams to ensure efficient, compliant, and high-performing HVAC solutions.

Responsibilities

• Leading the design and optimisation of HVAC systems for projects across Australia
• Collaborating closely with project managers, construction teams, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality project delivery
• Championing sustainable design outcomes, integrating smart and energy-efficient engineering strategies
• Preparing design briefs, specifications, and detailed engineering designs for air systems, water systems, and RHVAC systems in accordance with relevant Australian standards and project requirements
• Providing technical guidance and mentorship where required

Qualifications & Experience

We would be interested in talking to candidates currently working at Senior level with 10+ years’ experience in a Design role plus experience across Hospitals, Labs and Infrastructure. If you have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and have or are working towards Chartership we would love to have a conversation. You will have an influential role within the companies Design team mentoring younger Engineers as they develop.
