Job summary

Intellect is seeking a Market Development Lead in Australia to shape and execute expansion across the insurance and workers’ compensation ecosystem. You will build differentiated propositions, commercial models and go-to-market strategies, translating market insight into scalable revenue opportunities.

You will originate and convert opportunities, manage a qualified pipeline, and collaborate with partnerships, product, clinical and operations teams to deliver measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Approximately 5–12 years of relevant experience across management consulting, insurance, workers’ compensation, claims, healthcare or commercial strategy.
• Experience advising organisations across Australia’s insurance or workers’ compensation ecosystem or building new propositions and partnerships.
• Ability to move from market strategy through implementation and to commercial outcomes.
• Strong understanding of how complex services are bought, funded and delivered and the stakeholders who influence decisions.
• Experience originating and advancing complex B2B or B2B2C opportunities with viable propositions.

Responsibilities

• Develop the market strategy for Australia’s insurance and workers’ compensation ecosystem.
• Identify priority segments, use cases and opportunities for differentiated clinical and commercial value.
• Translate insights into a focused development strategy and staged commercial roadmap.
• Lead customer discovery and co-design conversations to translate buyer needs into viable solutions.
• Own opportunities from engagement through proposition development, negotiation and scale integration.
