PwC Australia is hiring a Senior Manager in Business Tax (Employee Share Schemes) to advise founder‑led and high‑growth private businesses on tax and commercial aspects of equity incentives. This is a non‑traditional tax role focusing on ESS, reward structures, and related advisory work.

You'll collaborate across tax, legal, deals, payroll and rewards teams, lead client delivery, and support growth, acquisitions and IPO readiness while building a specialist practice within a dynamic advisory

Qualificações

• Experience across tax, legal, accounting, private business advisory, M&A, deals, corporate advisory, employment taxes or reward.
• A genuine interest in employee share schemes, reward and employee ownership.
• Confidence reading and working with legal and commercial documents with legal support.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills applied to client situations.
• Clear communication to make complex concepts practical for clients.

Responsabilidades

• Advise private businesses on employee share schemes, equity incentives, option plans and performance rights.
• Guide clients through tax implications and structure effects for founders, employees and stakeholders.
• Design and interpret scheme documents and shareholder agreements with legal specialists.
• Support clients through growth, succession, capital raises, restructures, acquisitions and IPOs.
• Determine eligibility for relevant ESS tax concessions and manage reporting obligations.
• Prepare clear client advice, presentations and recommendations on complex tax and reward issues.
• Collaborate with tax, legal, private business, deals, valuations, payroll and reward teams.
• Lead day-to-day client delivery, manage workstreams and assist with business development.
