PwC Australia in Sydney is seeking a Manager or Senior Manager to specialise in employee share schemes within private business advisory. You will advise founders and growth companies on tax, equity incentives and related structures, drawing on cross‑disciplinary teams across tax, legal and deals.

Qualifikationen

• Experience across tax, legal, accounting, private business advisory, M&A, deals, corporate advisory, employment taxes or reward.
• Interest in employee share schemes, reward and ownership, and how tax advice supports business and people outcomes.
• Ability to read legal/commercial documents with support from legal specialists when required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with practical client application.
• Clear communication to make complex concepts accessible.
• Solid project management and ability to balance priorities.

Aufgaben

• Advise private businesses on employee share schemes, equity incentives, option plans and broader reward structures.
• Guide clients through tax implications and structure effects for founders, employees and stakeholders.
• Design and interpret scheme documents and transaction materials with legal colleagues where needed.
• Support clients through growth, succession, capital raises, restructures, acquisitions, exits and vesting.
• Determine ESS tax concessions eligibility and manage reporting obligations.
• Prepare clear client advice, presentations and recommendations on complex tax and reward issues.
• Collaborate across tax, legal, private business, deals, valuations, payroll and reward teams.
• Lead day-to-day client delivery, manage workstreams and support team members.
