Job summary

NGS Super in Australia seeks a Senior Manager, Education to lead the education strategy and national programs, partnering with Member and Employer Servicing, Growth, Marketing and Advice teams to reach members and employers effectively.

You will translate complex superannuation concepts into clear learning experiences, oversee content quality and drive measurable outcomes across webinars, seminars and digital channels.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in member education, financial education or related role within superannuation/financial services.
• Experience delivering education, engagement or learning programs at senior level.
• Strong knowledge of superannuation and retirement concepts (RG146 or equivalent).

About the Role

As the Senior Manager, Education, you'll lead the development and delivery of NGS Super's education strategy, helping members, prospective members, employers, advisers and industry stakeholders build greater confidence in their superannuation and retirement decisions.

You'll oversee a national education program delivered through webinars, seminars, workplace sessions, conferences, industry events and digital channels, ensuring education is engaging, accessible and aligned to the Fund's strategic objectives. Working across the business, you'll partner with Member and Employer Servicing, Growth and Acquisition, Marketing, Digital Experience and Advice teams to maximise reach, deliver meaningful outcomes and connect people with the services and support they need.

As a recognised subject matter expert and senior presenter, you'll simplify complex superannuation and retirement concepts, delivering practical education that empowers audiences to take informed action and improve their financial future.

What You'll Do

• Develop and implement the Fund's education strategy and annual program, aligned to organisational and member priorities.
• Identify key audience segments, education needs, delivery channels and measures of success.
• Manage a coordinated education calendar across webinars, seminars, workplace sessions, conferences, industry events and digital content.
• Lead the national webinar and seminar program, including scheduling, content, presenters and participant experience.
• Facilitate engaging education sessions across workplaces, conferences, industry events and partner forums, both in person and virtually.
• Design and deliver targeted education programs for members, prospective members, employers, advisers and other key audiences.
• Repurpose live education content into evergreen digital resources and learning experiences.
• Build strong partnerships with Growth and Acquisition, Member and Employer Servicing and other teams to expand audience reach and engagement opportunities.
• Collaborate with Advice and external partners to deliver education and support for third-party advisers working with NGS Super members.
• Own the education content plan and ensure educational materials remain relevant, accessible and audience-focused.
• Partner with Marketing and Digital Experience teams to develop, promote and distribute content across member channels and journeys.
• Measure program effectiveness through participation, satisfaction, content usage, member actions and referral activity
• Ensure all education content is technically accurate, compliant and clearly distinguishes education from personal financial advice.

About You

You’ll bring:

• At least 10 years' relevant experience in member education, financial education, relationship management or employment engagement within superannuation of financial services, including experience operating at a senior level.
• Demonstrated experience developing and delivering education, engagement, financial literacy or learning programs.
• Strong knowledge of superannuation and retirement, supported by RG146 qualifications or equivalent requirements.
• Advanced presentation and facilitation skills, with experience delivering webinars, workplace sessions, conferences and external events.
• The ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear, practical and engaging education.
• Proven program planning, prioritisation and delivery experience, with a strong focus on quality and execution.
• Experience using AI and automation tools to improve efficiency, streamline processes and support practical business outcomes.

It will be a bonus if you have:

• Undergraduate or postgraduate qualifications in business, finance or a related discipline.
• Technical experience within superannuation and/or financial planning environments.
• Experience working within a superannuation fund in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of the superannuation industry, regulatory environment, risk frameworks and governance requirements.
