Job summary

Australian Securities Exchange in Sydney seeks a Senior Manager to lead the Customer Networks team. You will steer engineering and BAU operations of network and server infrastructure, own lifecycle of hardware and services, and shape design, delivery, resilience and continuous improvement of connectivity platforms.

You will work with a growing team of network engineers, partnering with Infrastructure, Operations, and business owners to deliver reliable connectivity for market participants.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading technology engineering and operations teams in a complex environment.
• Demonstrated success managing business-critical services with high availability and customer service expectations.
• Strong experience in operational risk, incident management, service management and technology delivery.
• Knowledge of ITIL disciplines.
• Experience in critical infrastructure and highly regulated environments.
• Strong experience with Arista and Cisco technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop technical specialists, manage growth and provide credible technical direction.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to operate as a peer to senior technology leaders.
• Experience working in a 24/7 operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Connectivity Service Delivery strategy aligned with ASX Technology and infrastructure priorities.
• Forecast future demand from business growth and projects and include it in network capacity plans.
• Establish a clear service roadmap across connectivity systems, service operations, lifecycle management, automation and resilience.
• Provide leadership and subject-matter expertise on connectivity services and customer access requirements.
• Ensure reliable delivery and support of connectivity services for ASX customers and market participants.
• Maintain high availability, reliability and resilience of critical market and connectivity services.
• Act as a senior escalation point for complex service, customer, delivery and operational matters.
• Manage incidents, escalation procedures and related support disciplines.
• Ensure connectivity services have clear ownership, roadmaps, and lifecycle plans.
• Partner with senior technology leaders and build relationships with Infrastructure, Operations, business owners, customers and providers.
• Oversee vendor performance, service outcomes and commercial obligations.
