Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Manager, Business Development – Acceptance & Partnerships to drive growth in Commercial Payments across Australia and New Zealand. You will expand acceptance, enable suppliers, and develop partnerships to unlock new B2B payment flows across enterprise software, procurement, expense, travel and marketplaces.

The role requires leading supplier enablement with issuers, acquirers, fintechs and corporates and delivering measurable growth in acceptance, volume and partnerships.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years in business development or partnerships.
• Proven track record in originating, negotiating and commercializing partnerships with measurable outcomes.
• Strong understanding of commercial payments, embedded finance, and B2B payments.
• Experience with issuers, acquirers, fintechs and corporate customers.

Responsibilities

• Acceptance & Commercial Payments Growth: increase adoption and acceptance of Mastercard commercial payment solutions across key B2B ecosystems; deliver supplier enablement; expand card acceptance and supplier participation.
• Partnership Development & Commercialization: develop strategic partnerships across ANZ and Asia Pacific; own end-to-end lifecycle from origination to launch; forecast and manage opportunities in Salesforce.
• Market Development & Cross-Functional Leadership: represent Mastercard in customer engagements and industry events; collaborate with Sales, Product, Finance, Legal and Technology to drive growth; provide pipeline management and insights.
