Job summary

Mastercard in Australia and New Zealand seeks a Manager for Payments Solutions & Commercialisation to partner with key Merchant Cloud customers. The role requires deep payments knowledge, APIs familiarity, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions across the ANZ region.

You will assess requirements, translate them into actionable product requests, and drive opportunities for growth while balancing customer value and technical feasibility.

Qualifications

• Experience in gateway services, merchant acquiring, e-commerce payments, or related payments environment.
• Knowledge of payment authorisation, authentication, clearing and settlement workflows.
• Ability to translate customer objectives into technical requirements and product requests.
• Strong communication to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted technical product partner for key Merchant Cloud customers across ANZ.
• Lead discussions on product developments, payment mandates, technical issues and growth opportunities.
• Translate customer needs into clear requirements and recommended next steps.
• Coordinate Product, Sales, Account Management, Technology, Delivery and Support teams to progress initiatives.
• Develop business cases and product-intake submissions balancing customer value, commercial opportunity and feasibility.
• Support solution positioning, pre-sales discussions and RFP responses with gateway and payments expertise.
• Identify opportunities to increase product adoption, payment volume and customer value.
