Job summary

Worley is seeking an experienced Maintenance & Reliability Engineer to support the development and optimisation of maintenance strategies, master data, reliability programs and operational readiness activities for major energy, chemicals and resources projects.

You will review data, develop strategies, and manage spare parts and CMMS master data, ensuring asset reliability and regulatory compliance while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Instrumentation & Control Engineering.
Minimum 8 years' relevant industry experience.
Eligible for membership with Engineers Australia.
Experience in Maintenance Engineering within energy, chemicals, resources, oil & gas or related sectors.
Strong experience with SAP, CMMS platforms, Master Data Management, Reliability Engineering, FMECA, RCA and RCM methodologies.
Working knowledge of process safety requirements and Australian and international engineering standards.
Experience developing and maintaining maintenance strategies and master data within CMMS environments.
Extensive experience in maintenance strategy development, operational readiness, maintenance engineering and reliability improvement.
Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

Review engineering and supplier documentation to capture data for maintenance builds and material cataloguing.
Conduct equipment criticality assessments to determine maintenance requirements and BOMs.
Identify preventive maintenance routines to support strategies and update work instructions.
Develop maintenance strategies for various equipment classes and review against standards and performance.
Identify and manage spare parts requirements and inventory levels for asset reliability.
Support material management and supply chain in maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
Undertake reliability engineering, planning and scheduling aligned with project requirements.
Prepare maintenance and material master data in CMMS in line with client standards.
Provide leadership and technical support to operations and maintenance teams.
