Job summary

Freeman HR is seeking a Maintenance Co-ordinator (Mechanical) to lead reliability efforts and maximise asset performance at our site. You will coordinate maintenance strategies, plan and schedule activities, and supervise contractor work to ensure safety and efficiency.

The role requires hands-on mechanical expertise, strong leadership, and experience with CMMS systems like Pronto or SAP, within heavy manufacturing/mining environments. An Australian Mechanical Trade certificate is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in heavy manufacturing/mining environments.
• Strong planning and coordination capability.
• Proficiency with CMMS software (Pronto or SAP).
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and maintenance specs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver maintenance strategies to maximise plant performance and safety.
• Plan, schedule and execute maintenance activities; drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee contractor management and ensure safe, compliant execution.
• Maintain equipment data and contribute to asset strategy development.
