Job summary
Mars Australia is seeking a Reliability Manager to own the maintenance function at our Gosford site. You will lead the maintenance team, drive a proactive culture, and manage the maintenance budget to maximise asset life and plant reliability.
You will partner with Production Managers on continuous improvement, optimize spares, and analyse KPIs to reduce downtime and improve performance. A mechanical or electrical engineering background is preferred.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering or a relevant trade with leadership experience.
- Experience leading teams in a manufacturing/production environment.
- Familiarity with CMMS or ERP platforms (e.g. SAP).
- Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) or Lean/Six Sigma is highly regarded.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct leadership and line management to the maintenance team.
- Lead the development and deployment of the site maintenance strategy.
- Own the site maintenance budget and stores inventory budget.
- Rigorously analyse KPIs including maintenance spend and reliability.
- Oversee projects to elevate plant reliability and reduce downtime.
