Job summary

Albright & Wilson is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance function at our Wetherill Park site. You will manage a team of five, oversee external contractors, and drive continuous improvement to minimise downtime and optimise performance.

You will develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance strategies, supervise maintenance staff, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and manage budgets and monthly reporting.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
• Knowledge of hazardous and dangerous goods classification.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Proficient in computer systems and maintenance software (MEX preferred).
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance strategies.
• Supervise and coach maintenance staff, including Electrical and Mechanical Leading Hands.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage maintenance contractors and ensure adherence to site protocols.
• Maintain accurate records in MEX and ensure timely completion of work orders.
• Oversee spare parts inventory and storeroom management.
• Prepare and monitor maintenance budgets and monthly reports.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and develop long-term maintenance plans.
