Job summary

NEPEAN Longwall is seeking a Project Manager to lead large-scale mining projects from our Kurri Kurri office. You will oversee planning, execution, and close-out, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and strong client relations.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical engineering or construction management background, PMP certification, and 5+ years of multimillion-dollar project leadership, preferably in Longwall mining. Proficiency in Pronto ERP, MS Project, and SharePoint is valued.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management with PMP accreditation.
• Underground mining background with Longwall experience preferred.
• 5+ years managing multimillion-dollar projects (>$2M) is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Plan: Create Project Execution Plans, manage risks, and optimize designs.
• Facilitate: Act as primary client contact, ensure contract compliance, drive quality outcomes.
• Control & Report: Track budgets, costs, and schedules with accurate invoicing.
• Close-Out: Complete timely reviews, secure certificates, archive documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements.
