Job summary

Uniting NSW & ACT is seeking a Leisure & Wellness Coordinator to design and deliver engaging leisure activities for residents, tailoring plans to individual needs and abilities.

You will guide staff, liaise with residents and carers, and ensure accurate documentation and evaluation of activities to drive continuous improvement. A certificate in Leisure & Lifestyle is preferred, with a commitment to compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Experience in aged/community care or Lifestyle programs is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team and coordinate activities.
• Certificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle or equivalent qualifications is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff in planning the activity program and liaise with residents and carers.
• Ensure residents participate in programs aligned with their interests and needs.
• Confirm details of the activities program with the manager and schedule.
