Job summary

Northern Coalfields Community Care Association in Cessnock NSW is seeking a Leisure & Lifestyle Coordinator to design and deliver engaging programs, social activities, and events that enhance residents' quality of life and foster community connections.

You'll run group activities, themed celebrations and individual wellbeing initiatives, ensuring person-centred care and empowering residents to live life to the fullest.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for supporting older people.
• Qualifications in Leisure & Health, or a related field
• Experience in aged care, community services, or a similar environment
• The ability to conduct lifestyle assessments and develop resident-centred lifestyle care plans
• Knowledge of person-centred care and the importance of supporting resident choice, independence and wellbeing
• Strong communication, documentation and organisational skills
• Creativity, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging lifestyle programs, social activities, special events and community connections that enhance residents' quality of life.
• Coordinate group activities, themed celebrations and individual wellbeing initiatives.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate resident needs with the care team.
