Job summary

Uniting is seeking a dedicated Leisure & Wellness Coordinator to deliver engaging leisure programs for residents in a NSW aged care setting. You will lead staff, tailor activities to residents’ interests, and ensure outcomes are achieved.

The role requires experience in aged care or lifestyle programs; Certificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle is preferred. This is a full-time position with Monday–Friday, offering competitive pay and great benefits.

Qualifications

Ideally, we’re looking for previous experience in aged/community care or Lifestyle programs in Aged Care.

Certificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle or equivalent qualifications

Responsibilities

Lead, guide and direct the staff in planning the program of activities, liaising with team members, residents and carers.
Ensure residents participate in activities of interest and achieve desired outcomes.
Confirm activities program with the manager, including details, residents involved, timetable and resources.
Ensure evaluation of activities, daily participation sheets and related paperwork are completed for continuous improvement.
Develop activities that build on residents’ previous interests and current capabilities to enhance quality of life
