Fairfield City Council is seeking a Senior Library Assistant on a temporary full-time basis to support library customers across five libraries, delivering efficient information and business support services. The role requires strong communication skills, teamwork, and a proactive approach to resolving issues, with administration of library systems.
The position may contribute to projects, liaising with stakeholders to achieve outcomes, and requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
Provides customerservice and business support services, managing requests and enquiries fromLibrary customers and other stakeholders to contribute to the efficientprovision of a core business service to Council's customers. The position alsocollaborates with business units, providing specialist operational support,developing relationships to enhance service delivery, and managing keyinformation or systems to facilitate the delivery of business objectives andmeet user and customer needs.
The position may also contribute to thedelivery of key projects incorporating research, planning, delivery,evaluation, and the management and/or co-ordination of Council systems,programs or events, liaising with internal or external stakeholders to achievesuccessful project, system or program outcomes.
