Fairfield City Council invites applications for a Senior Library Assistant (Temporary Full-time) to provide library and information services across five libraries within the Fairfield LGA, on-site. Provides customerservice and business support services, managing requests and enquiries fromLibrary customers and other stakeholders to contribute to the efficientprovision of a core business service to Council’s customers. The position alsocollaborates with business units, providing specialist operational support,developing relationships to enhance service delivery, and managing keyinformation or systems to facilitate the delivery of business objectives andmeet user and customer needs.
The position may also contribute to thedelivery of key projects incorporating research, planning, delivery,evaluation, and the management and/or co-ordination of Council systems,programs or events, liaising with internal or external stakeholders to achievesuccessful project, system or program outcomes.
