Job summary

John Holland, as part of the Torrens to Darlington Alliance in Adelaide, seeks a Senior Learning Advisor to oversee workforce training, apprenticeships, and traineeships across the North–South Corridor project. You will ensure qualification, compliance, and progression for a safe, project-ready workforce.

The role provides strategic oversight of training plans, RTO coordination, and apprenticeship funding, while leading Training Coordinators and supporting subcontractors to meet contractual

Qualifications

• Formal qualification in Learning & Development, Human Resources, Training & Assessment, or Business.
• Experience in training coordination and leadership development programs.
• Strong planning, scheduling, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Knowledge of RTO compliance requirements is desirable.
• Experience with apprenticeship funding and reporting processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee workforce qualifications aligned to project requirements and training pathways.
• Maintain audit-ready training records and ensure compliance.
• Develop training plans for apprentices, trainees, and workers.
• Coordinate training delivery with RTOs to minimise disruption to construction.
• Manage apprenticeship funding processes, including ADMS submissions.
• Monitor subcontractor training qualifications across key trades and report findings.
• Lead engagement activities to promote training pathways across the supply chain.
• Provide leadership and coaching for Training Coordinators.
