Job summary

John Holland is seeking a Temporary Works Coordinator to oversee on-site temporary works for the Torrens to Darlington Alliance project in Adelaide. The role focuses on coordinating temporary works, reviewing designs for compliance, and liaising with design teams, subcontractors and site staff to ensure safe and timely delivery.

Key requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent and strong experience with temporary works and risk assessment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, building construction or equivalent.
• Proven experience with a Tier 1 contractor in the local market is desirable.
• Strong technical knowledge of temporary works activities and risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all temporary works activities on the construction site.
• Ensure temporary works designs comply with relevant codes, standards and regulations.
• Review and approve temporary works designs and ensure they meet project requirements.
• Liaise with design teams, subcontractors and stakeholders for effective communication and coordination.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate control measures for temporary works.
• Monitor installation, use and dismantling of temporary works for compliance and safety.
