Job summary

BSS INSIGHT PTY LTD in Mount Waverley, VIC seeks an Analyst Programmer to design, develop and support Java-based applications, APIs and enterprise integrations. You will translate business requirements into technical specifications, build REST and SOAP services, and participate in code reviews, testing, deployment and production support to ensure reliable systems.

The role requires a strong background in Spring Boot, Apache Camel and messaging; you will work closely with stakeholders and deliver

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or related.
7 years of professional Java, Spring Boot and Apache Camel experience.
Strong experience designing REST APIs, SOAP and enterprise integrations.
Knowledge of JSON, XML, OpenAPI/Swagger and integration patterns.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain Java-based applications, APIs and enterprise integrations.
Analyse requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Develop functionality, interfaces, integrations, reports and automated processes.
Perform unit, system, integration and regression tests; fix defects.
Support deployments, configuration changes and production issues.
Conduct code reviews and apply security and quality standards.
Provide user and team support; contribute to continuous improvement.
