Job summary

Arena Consulting Services P/L – Sydney CBD NSW is seeking a Software Engineer - Java Spring for a six-month contract. The role offers flexibility to base in Melbourne or Sydney and focuses on designing, developing and maintaining enterprise applications using Java, Spring Framework and Spring MVC.

You will build RESTful APIs, work with Node.js where needed, implement authentication with Spring Security, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Experience developing enterprise applications in Java with Spring Framework and Spring MVC.
• Experience building RESTful APIs using Java/Spring and Node.js.
• Experience implementing authentication and authorization with Spring Security.
• Experience maintaining and enhancing applications with technologies like DWR/SOAP (as applicable).
• Experience developing and supporting CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test and deployment.
• Experience working with relational databases using SQL/JDBC.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests and participating in code reviews.
