Job summary

Avocado Consulting is seeking a Senior Java developer to join an enterprise portfolio for a NSW Government client. You will develop and maintain Java applications and backend services, build REST APIs and microservices, and work with Spring Boot in modern development workflows.

You will design scalable, secure solutions, integrate with internal/external systems, work with SQL databases, troubleshoot issues, and participate in code reviews.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with full stack Java development (J2EE, Springboot, SOAP, Oracle db, REST, Hibernate).
• Experience with NodeJS would also be advantageous.
• Experience using OAuth (and SAML) or implementing an identity provider in JAVA applications.
