Supermetrics in Sydney is seeking a seasoned Solutions Engineer to own the JAPAC region and showcase our marketing intelligence platform to strategic clients.

You will act as a trusted advisor to marketing teams, translating business goals into technical outcomes, staying current on product releases, and helping train colleagues. Fluent English is required; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a pre sales technical customer-facing role in a SaaS company (or an agency background).
• A solid understanding of the MarTech or AdTech landscape, including ad platforms and analytics tools.
• Strong presentation and communication skills, able to convey the value of technical solutions to marketing professionals and executives.
• Clear understanding of SQL and SQL-based analytics; Python, R, or dbt knowledge is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with BI and dashboarding tools (Looker Studio/Looker, Power BI, Tableau).
• Cloud data warehouses and cloud infra experience (BigQuery, Snowflake, Fabric, Redshift; GCP/AWS/Azure).
• Fluent English (Mandarin a plus).

Responsibilities

• Act as a product expert when presenting Supermetrics' product range to customers and prospects
• Make business and technical outcomes clear for stakeholders across the marketing domain
• Stay current on product releases and train new hires and colleagues
• Capture and relay customer feedback and requirements to the product development team
• Build deep product knowledge and resolve critical technical issues with support and product teams
• Understand the data stack and quickly pick up new systems to support the sales team
