Job summary

Alzheimer's Australia is seeking an experienced interior designer to lead a range of sites across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and NSW. This 12-month contract offers hands-on design leadership from concept to delivery, with regular travel to project sites.

Based in Upper Mount Gravatt, you will manage multiple projects, coordinate FF&E, and mentor junior designers while collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality environments for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years’ experience in a design studio with commercial and residential projects.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of the Building Code of Australia (BCA) and relevant standards.
• Current National Police Check and Australian driver’s licence.
• Aged Care experience is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects end-to-end from briefing through to completion.
• Prepare 2D drawings, 3D models and detailed design docs.
• Coordinate furniture, artwork and decorative selections.
• Oversee procurement and supplier relationships.
• Lead FF&E selection and ordering.
• Mentor junior designers in the studio.
• Travel to project sites as required.
