Job summary

Gough Recruitment QLD is partnering with an award-winning national studio to appoint an Associate Architect, focused on aged care and seniors living. You will lead design delivery, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with senior leadership, clients, and consultants across all project stages.

Qualifications

• Registered Architect with proven experience delivering Aged Care and/or Seniors Living projects.
• Strong client-facing skills and the ability to develop long-term stakeholder relationships.
• Experience leading project teams and mentoring junior architects.
• Excellent knowledge of design, documentation, and construction delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of aged care and seniors living projects across all project stages.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, operators, consultants, and key stakeholders.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and support to architects and junior staff.
• Manage project programmes, resources, and consultant coordination.
• Oversee design quality, technical delivery, and project outcomes.
• Contribute to business development and help grow the studio's aged care sector.
