You will guide front-end concepts, articulate design narratives and drive projects from concept through construction with a confident, collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of interior design experience in workplace projects.

This established Melbourne-based studio is known for delivering high-performing workplace environments that balance creativity and useability. They are seeking an experienced senior interior designer with experience in a D&C environment to lead complex workplace projects, build client relationships and inspire project teams. This role suits a confident design leader who thrives at the front end, excels in delivery, and understands how great ideas translate into built outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Lead workplace projects from early pitch and concept through to construction delivery

Drive client presentations, design narratives and front-end engagement with confidence

Oversee project teams, providing clear direction, mentorship and design leadership

Ensure projects meet best-practice workplace strategies, compliance and commercial objectives

Guide documentation, construction coordination, value management and D&C processes

Skills & Experience

10 or more years' experience in interior design, with experience delivering workplace interior projects in a D&C environment

Strong capability in client-facing roles, pitching and winning work

Proven leadership experience managing teams and complex project workflows

Solid understanding of construction, buildability, documentation, costing and value management

Working knowledge of Revit, building codes and Design & Construct delivery models
