Inscape is a small, collaborative interior design studio in Sydney seeking a Senior Designer to shape growth. You’ll lead workplace projects end-to-end, from briefing to delivery, and mentor a tight-knit team while maintaining strong client relationships.

With a focus on thoughtful, end-user‑centered environments, you’ll push boundaries and refine processes as we scale, collaborating with global brands and trades across Australia.

Qualifications

• 6+ years’ experience in interior design with a focus on workplace.
• Proficiency in Revit and space planning.
• Strong client communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead workplace design projects from briefing through delivery.
• Develop concepts and drive design direction across the studio.
• Collaborate closely with consultants, suppliers, and trades to ensure buildable, on-budget outcomes.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to a positive, high-performing culture.
• Engage confidently with clients to guide them through the design journey.

We’re a small, collaborative interior design studio working with global brands across Australia and we’re looking for a confident, creative Senior Designer to help shape the next chapter of our growth.

What you’ll do

Lead Projects with Confidence

Own workplace design projects from briefing through to delivery. You’ll plan, manage, and execute every stage with clarity, independence, and strong design intent. This will mean guiding our team, and also getting on the tools yourself.

Drive Creative Direction

Develop compelling concepts, shape design narratives, and champion innovative thinking across the studio. You’ll set the tone for design excellence.

Deliver Smart, Buildable Solutions

Collaborate closely with consultants, suppliers, and trades to ensure every design is efficient, buildable, and aligned with budget and programme, without compromising creativity.

Elevate the Studio

Support and mentor junior designers, share knowledge generously, and contribute to a positive, high‑performing culture where teamwork always comes first.

Strengthen Client Relationships

Engage confidently with clients, present ideas clearly, and guide them through the design journey. Your understanding of cost, materials, and delivery will help ensure great outcomes every time.

What you’ll bring

• 6+ years’ experience in interior design, with a strong focus on workplace
• Proficiency in Revit and strong space‑planning capability
• Confident use of InDesign for presentations and concept development
• A collaborative, team‑first mindset — you lift others up and love working together
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with clients and consultants
• A practical understanding of materials, costs, and project delivery
