Job summary

UNSW is seeking an Integration Engineer to join the IT department in Kensington, Sydney, with a hybrid work arrangement (2-3 days onsite). The role focuses on planning, coordinating and supervising the integration of applications into UNSW information systems, and delivering robust interfaces and data exchange across the enterprise.

You will work with middleware, Azure platforms and development tools, participate in testing, provide support and documentation, and collaborate with stakeholders to

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of middleware experience with Microsoft Azure and native integrations.
• Experience in requirements gathering, use cases, gap analysis, and design.
• Knowledge of agile, waterfall, lean and rapid development methodologies.
• Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence and testing tools (Selenium).

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and manage the integration of new applications into enterprise systems.
• Develop middleware to transform and control data between systems.
• Manage deployments, provide production support and ensure risk reduction.
• Investigate Web API or integration service opportunities where applicable.
• Provide Level 2/3 support and coordinate with stakeholders for issue resolution.
• Document integration processes and maintain the integration catalogue.
