Job summary

The Recruitment Hive is seeking a Senior Integration Architect to provide authoritative architectural leadership across programs addressing disability support initiatives. You will ensure solution architectures align with enterprise strategy, security requirements and organisational priorities.

You will lead analyses of complex problems, develop strategic options and establish domain-wide architecture principles and guardrails to promote consistency and reuse.

Qualifications

• 8+ years designing enterprise integration solutions.
• 3+ years in EL2/principal architect capacity.
• Certifications in enterprise architecture (TOGAF) or cloud (AWS/Azure).
• Experience delivering cloud transformation projects in government.

Job description

Our client, a Commonwealth Government organisation whose focus is to provide support to Australian's living with disability, require the services of a Senior Integration Architect.

Duties of the Senior Integration Architect.

• Provide authoritative architectural advice and technical leadership across programs, projects and initiatives operating within the domain
• Ensure solution architectures and technology investments align with enterprise architecture, domain strategy, security requirements and organisational priorities
• Lead architectural analysis of complex business and technology problems and develop strategic options, recommendations and transition approaches
• Establish and maintain domain-level architecture principles, patterns, standards and guardrails to promote consistency, interoperability and reuse

Skills and Experience Required

• Minimum 8+ years of experience designing and delivering complex enterprise integration solutions, with at least 3 years in an EL2 or equivalent principal architect capacity (and/or relevant industry experience)
• Experience performing a Domain Architect, Enterprise Architect or equivalent senior architecture role within Australian Government or another large, complex organisation
• Formal certifications in enterprise architecture (e.g., TOGAF) or advanced cloud architecture (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or Azure Solutions Architect Expert)
• Extensive experience delivering major cloud transformation projects within an Australian Federal or State Government agency
