Job summary

Recruitment Hive seeks a Senior Solution Architect for a Federal Government client in Canberra. The role delivers high-quality solution designs and architectures aligned with business goals, with an NV1 security clearance required.

Responsibilities include owning solution documentation, engaging with the business to capture objectives, and coordinating with enterprise architects, solution leads and project managers to ensure cross-domain alignment across domains.

Qualifications

• Advanced experience with cloud products (AWS/Azure) and architecture certifications incl. TOGAF preferred.
• Strong listening, communication and stakeholder management to translate needs into tech requirements.
• Experience balancing fast-paced projects with tactical and strategic goals.

About the role - Senior Solution Architects

Delivering high quality solution designs and architecture that are fit for business purpose and ensure solutions align with client goals and objectives.

Duties - Senior Solution Architects

• Development, ownership and accountability for creation and maintaining all relevant documentation pertaining to the solution.
• Engage with the business to understand the tactical and strategic objectives and requirements.
• Engage with the enterprise architects, solution leads, business representatives, project managers, developmentteamand other relevant stakeholders to ensure solution alignment across domains.

Skills / Experience - Senior Solution Architects

• Demonstrated, advanced experience with cloud-based products including AWS and Azure with relevant certifications in Architecture and ideally TOGAF or equivalent certified
• Excellent listening, communication and stakeholder management skills, must be able to translate business capability and need into technical requirements.
• Experience balancing fast-paced project and program, project and organisational goals, as well as tactical and strategic drivers.
