Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Database Focus)

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer with a strong SQL Server and/or Oracle DBA background to join a large, complex enterprise environment. You’ll work on critical systems, lead technical initiatives, and mentor junior engineers while helping shape future‑state database solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing and supporting enterprise database environments
• Performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
• Availability, backup, disaster recovery, patching, and upgrades
• Working closely with infrastructure, application, and cloud teams
• Driving continuous improvement and modernisation initiatives

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years’ experience as an Enterprise DBA (SQL Server 2019-2022 and/or Oracle 19c+)
• Strong experience with Always On Availability Groups and/or Oracle Always‑On monitoring
• Proven performance tuning and troubleshooting capability
• Able to work autonomously and guide junior engineers
• Current NV1 security clearance
