Job summary

Banana Shire Council is seeking a senior coordinator to lead the Construction and Maintenance Works Program across the Banana South region. Qualifications

• Extensive leadership of multi-disciplinary teams in civil construction.
• Experience delivering complex road works programs within asset management frameworks.
• Proven ability to plan, schedule and monitor budgets and resources.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of annual road maintenance programs, including scheduling and resource planning.
• Provide input into annual capital construction and RPMC programs for Banana South region.
• Oversee construction and maintenance works to align with asset management plans, budgets and priorities.
• Approve PMPs including construction methodologies, materials sources, traffic management, safety and environmental controls.
• Provide high-level technical advice on construction standards and lead continuous improvement initiatives across operations.
• Monitor progress, approve variations and actions to keep projects on time and within budget.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and safety standards are consistently applied.
